Triss Merigold from The Witcher.

I don't draw women as often, so I thought I'd try to remedy that in some small way. So while this is different to what I normally draw in some ways, at the same time I've drawn a lot of Witcher related characters before.
But that means that in spite of having already drawn quite a few things relating to The Witcher, drawing one of the women from it is a part of it I haven't covered yet.
And it's a pretty important part as there are several important female characters in the series. Triss being one of the more prominent ones.
Another reason I chose to draw Triss specifically is her attire, I really like the way her clothing looks and I appreciate her overall design.
Obviously, it's training and a healthy exercise beyond that, since about half of us humans are female. Women obviously look different to men and therefore require a somewhat different process if you are to draw them, which means you need to learn new ways of drawing people. Wasn't quite sure how to do the magic though, I sort of half-assed it because it wasn't really the point of the drawing. Perhaps I'll try harder another time.
Still, it's just fun to attempt something slightly out of your comfort zone and still trying to get it to look good.
